just yesterday i finished tabling at my first ever convention, another longtime resolution of mine. kinda terrifying, daunting, even sometimes humiliating, but i had some great face-to-face moments with people that are gonna stick with me for a long time. i am very tired

these drippy himbo glamour shots are super fun for me and i'm definitely gonna do more. i think his stylishness is really important to his character

the process was rife with doubt, but it cemented a philosophy of commitment to self-indulgence that i've taken with me through the rest of this year, for better or for worse. not compromising on the scope of the book was something i needed to do for me. i hope it paid off!

the beginning of this year (and the rest really) had me experimenting with paint 3D, mostly with himbo as a subject. maybe 2022 will be the year of me getting into blender, that would be cool
