i have a few ideas for pete! i was thinking he would also be trying to get into SEA and act as a sort of miniboss in each arc, trying to subvert mickey and oswald in some cartoony way. though i tend to prefer his depiction in goof troop - more low-stakes and nuanced.

i don’t think i have to tell you about steven universe and she-ra but like, these are definitely the leaders in the fight for queer rep in cartoons. i talk up steven constantly but like, it constantly amazes me with its representation. it’s so nuanced

and of course, there’s also boxman and venomous, two villains from the show who enter a “business partnership”. venomous gives boxman a microchip with which to make his “boxman jr” robot, and he gives it to him like he’s proposing. it’s very not subtle

i love the epic mickey games, and i've wanted to see these two together in another capacity for a long time. in this cartoon that doesn't exist, they are brothers who grow up together in marceline, and their relationship is central to the show.
