Lukisan Allahyarham Datuk Ibrahim Hussein yang bertajuk 'The Dream' dihasilkan pada 1969 ini telah dijual dengan harga RM500,500 dalam satu lelongan.
Klu korg nak tau, ant. artis one line drawing yg terkenal ni adalah duo dari Perancis iaitu Differantly (DFT) yg pernah berkolaborasi dgn jenama² besar spt Adidas, Nike, Hermès & Adobe. Mereka deconstruct imej² kompleks kpd seni minimalis 2D yg fokus kpd teras identiti subjek tu.
'Lukisan' cahaya dihasilkan oleh Picasso dlm bilik gelap dan pergerakannya melukis cahaya menggunakan lampu elektrik kecil dirakam 2 buah kamera. Mind you, Picasso hasilkan karya ni pada tahun 1949 tau! See his level of creativity? Sy kagum dgn cara dia berfikir di luar kotak.
"Rosie The Riveter" - Norman Rockwell (US) 1939
Rockwell sgt dikenali dlm gerakan propaganda. Karyanya ini mewakili wanita² yg bekerja di kilang pembuatan senjata semasa WW2 bertujuan menyeru golongan wanita supaya menjadi lebih kuat & berupaya serta menyokong kerja² perang.
