#SciArtTweetStorm Hi, I’m Tyler. I’m a paleoartist with a particular love for aquatic animals. Sadly, my art has been on hold for a few months following a major surgery, but now I’m on the mend and open for commissions - DM me for info #paleoart #sciart
This old of mine drawing got posted in a Facebook group I’m in, so I might as well share it again. Inspired by a joke from Dr. Chris Brochu: Barney as a terrestrial arthrodire (armored fish) descendant. #digitalart #creaturedesign
#AnimalArtistsUnite Hi, I’m Tyler! I draw (and occasionally animate) extinct animals, particularly aquatic ones. My work has most recently appeared on the cover of/in press material for the Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology. I’m always open to commissions - DM me for info!
#InverteFest here’s a giant squid sketch I did a few weeks ago. I didn’t use any references, so the anatomy is a little wonky. I wanted to draw one with its tentacles mostly retracted - they’re always depicted fully-extended, but that’s not their neutral state (see photo).
It’s #FossilFriday, so let’s dive into the new #Deinosuchus paper and my accompanying illustration. There’s a lot of material to cover, so get comfy. Unless otherwise noted, all images are either by me or from Cossette and Brochu (2020).
I'm so excited to finally share this! My reconstruction of Deinosuchus riograndensis is being featured on the cover of the Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology! You can read the press release here: https://t.co/crVgJf7JGz #paleoart #sciart #crocodylia #deinosuchus
@Skollyson Thank you for this! I’m Tyler, and my two great loves are creature design and paleoart!
