Land ho! Squall the pelican for @Foxlover91, thank you! I keep all the paid work on a separate site, but this guy here is so akin to the things I normally do on my own that I couldn't help it. I'm a simple person. I see a cartoony sailor, I launch myself in their direction!
The first two months of this year were rather tumultuous for me, but I think I'm getting back on track. I missed drawing my silly Slavic sailors while listening to horrific stories about real maritime tragedies. You know, the usual!

Small gift for Overzen to say thank you for the support you've shown, it didn't go unnoticed! My heart skipped a beat when I found out about Captain Barnaby. God knows I'm not built to resist cartoony sailors (especially those with extra padding in the middle)!

And here's Rookie the tuxedo kitten, adopted in late 2019. She doesn't make an appearance until the end of the story, when captain is the only character that remains alive - she's his cat. Spunky, adventurous and an avid gift bringer (twigs & leaves are her main choice!)
I usually scan things in batches, so here is a small collection of Mommy faces from Spring this year I only recently inked & coloured. Mommy belongs to @/mijfly! She's a perfect character to practise expressions on. Those faces are very modest compared to the original, though!
