Big 'n curvy double tailed merm based on the equally weird and cool chimaera/ghost shark. The colors were hard on this one, ghost sharks are either mostly colorless or one color, so adding interest and variation took a bit to figure out.

Channeled a lot of current anger and frustration I have into this alien looking merm that's based on the weirdness of baby rays. I'm hoping do a piece every day for #mermay , wanting to keep productive during this weird and trying time we're all living in

On the plus side of not winning, I still can use the original ink drawing for my own purposes and finish it off into something complete
