last addition of the night: tried a few tricks to get a billboard effect on the tummy ball (ie stencil cutout material that always shows the ball texture facing the cam thru the tummy) but in the end i think just plopping the dang ball texture on there like normal is good enough

oh yeah i mentioned this onstream but: the PlayOnline Viewer client used to log into ffxi has a ton of musashi portraits at a much higher resolution than the ones used ingame!! unfortunately POL uses some kind of weird nonstandard png format so we can only look at em in-app...

@paperbeatstweet the actual grab box for "inhale" type moves (purple here) is actually much smaller than the windbox component, so you can inhale shielded guys but only if they're at point blank range since shields block windboxes. also why is k rool's inhale grab box so Fuckening huge christ
