Being apex predators, mermaids rarely get agitated or frustrated as these emotions hinder them from hunting efficiently. However, there are times when they too bend to their feelings. Especially when a sister of theirs dies.

With the advancement of technology, these vicious predators of the sea have instead become the hunted. So much so that the only time they felt being safe was when they were only but fetus growing in their eggs in the abyss.
