I tried coloring a map with some real brush watercolor pens. It went OK, I guess. Video coming tomorrow.

Looks like WotC changed the wording of this section in the Wayfinder's Guide to Eberron. :) No mention of a possible future book anymore, and no mention of this serving playtest purpose.
