There's something that's been on my mind lately...we're running out of games in the Wonder Boy saga to remake. This means we're nearly at a point in time in which we'll be receiving all NEW adventures and that's very exciting! 😁

@theWellRedMage One of these four being announced as Smash fighters. Sora would be the most unbelievable addition. Lloyd would complete the "big three", Crash would complete the 90s platformer rival trio and Shantae has been requested for years. But if none happen, that's perfectly okay!

All four versions of Monster World IV's map. I had a feeling it was getting a remake eventually after seeing the third image on @maki_ohzora's profile banner long before it was revealed. The final one is an updated version of it!

Just ordered my drawing tablet. I think the first thing I'd like to try is Asha as the female Warrior from Dragon Quest 4. They both have a 35th anniversary, are from a 4th entry and have the same fighter class. It's a perfect match!

I cannot believe Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World releases TOMORROW! Also, keep in mind, this isn't the first time Monster World 4 has been released in the west...it's been available for about a decade.

I'm happy newcomers and veterans can finally enjoy it in a new light.

Pokemon to lookalikes

With several pixel and hand-drawn games and the new addition of 2.5D, there is only one thing left for the Wonder Boy series to try and that is with full 3D gameplay. I wouldn't mind another 2D/2.5D one, but exploring Monster World with full 3D control would be super exciting!
