Asha's mother gets the character spotlight today! She dreads the day her only child becomes a warrior. I was very pleased with the new story additions in the remake that include her parents. I won't spoil it for now! 😉

@PushDustIn The Wonder Boy series of course! The franchise is 35 now and new games have been coming rapidly. A remake of the 1994 classic, Monster World 4 is coming out later this month worldwide. There's no better time to get into them than right now!

One of the final things I'd like to mention is that Asha is the first hero in the saga to actually have visible parents, making it the first in the series to break the cliche trend of missing parents.

They are good folks and you'll see that a LOT more in the remake. 😉

Now we can't talk about Asha without mentioning Pepe now, can we? This little blue creature is a huge key to why she was able to go on her journey. She's human and we all know that sometimes in life, we can use a little help from a friend, right?

The series has many heroes. While Asha is not the first playable female character in the series, she is the very first to be the star in one. The series' name is "Wonder Boy", so Ryuichi wanted to give us something very unexpected and allow a girl to be the hero this time.

For starters, Asha is the lead protagonist of the once Japan-only exclusive, Monster World 4, which released in April 1st of 1994. Her design was done as early as 1992.

She wears "Arabian-influenced nomadic gear". In the remake, her design has been updated quite a bit!

A while back, somoene made this goofy Monster World 4 comic and we were introduced to the mythical Crazy Pepe. But, it was only a matter of time before we realized...HE'S REAL. 😂

I remember when the rumors for Asha in Monster World were rising, someone made this. I still don't understand as to why they put Wonder Girl on it from the Dragon's Trap! 🤣
