With Asha in Monster World mere months away from release, I thought I'd share some green-haired characters from other games with her. It would be awesome if there was future fan art of her cosplaying the others.

I'll reveal them all eventually, but how many of them do recognize?

The official Monster World IV illustration for the Monster World Complete Collection. I'm almost 100% certain the action demonstrations were inspired by the original chibi ones seen in the past. It's nice to see some enemies for once too.

Shion and Priscilla from the Complete Collection artwork. This is also one of my favorite takes on Shion's design since it reminds me a bit of how characters are designed in Mega Man Zero/ZX.

Just managed to retrieve the separate piece that is present for Asha in Monster World's collector's edition. I love them both! But, the right one is more complete to me because she actually has her shield this time around. 🛡️

Today's character feature goes to no other than the first hero of the Wonder Boy series, Bocke (pronounced "Book"). After defeating the extraterrestrial Meka Dragon, he was cursed and traveled the land as several animal forms to gain his humanity back.

Today's Easter egg is also another character feature! The Prince of Dark World is one of many bosses in Monster World 3 that helped Shion defeat the mind-controlling alien, Biomeka. In Monster Boy, his boots make a return as equipment!

Recently, we revealed that there are essentially 4 canon heroes in the Wonder Boy saga, but if you've dug deep enough...that's actually not true. There are actually 6. The two seemingly forgotten heroes of Monster World are Leo and Princess Purapril.
