Today's Easter egg for Monster Boy is the reference to Poseidon, god of the sea from Monster World 3. This can be found at the Pirate Shore's underwater segment. The trident is also a very nice touch! 🔱

Second, what is Monster World IV? It is a side-scrolling Action RPG with beautiful pixel art, rock-solid gameplay mechanics and a soundtrack featuring leitmotif. It's one of the best titles on Sega Genesis that was once a Japan-only exclusive. But why? We'll get into that soon.

Just a little reminder that Monster Tale's 10th anniversary is on March 22nd. There was a rumor that it would be coming to modern platforms this year. Really happy to see it get another chance to shine!

This Aeria Skies Easter egg is one of the only ones I feel has partially defeated me lol. The hero in front is definitely Shion, but I cannot for the life of me figure out who the female behind him is or what this means. Any ideas? 🤔

Today's Easter egg is also one that is found inside of the Haunted Mansion area. The Darkworld Prince from Monster World 3 is seen in one of the paintings!

Huge thanks to the individuals that assisted me with this one! ☺️

Earlier today, we posted a handful of green-haired female characters from various games, but we kept the names hidden until now. Some of you got a few on the nose! That said, here is the complete list of all of them including a new addition that I forgot for some reason. Enjoy!

With Asha in Monster World mere months away from release, I thought I'd share some green-haired characters from other games with her. It would be awesome if there was future fan art of her cosplaying the others.

I'll reveal them all eventually, but how many of them do recognize?

@PushDustIn These four for the moment. The Sonic 30th anniversary title would be my 5th, but we don't know a thing about it yet. But, whatever it is, fingers crossed for a Sonic Adventure remake or a brand new game altogether. 🤞

The official Monster World IV illustration for the Monster World Complete Collection. I'm almost 100% certain the action demonstrations were inspired by the original chibi ones seen in the past. It's nice to see some enemies for once too.

Shion and Priscilla from the Complete Collection artwork. This is also one of my favorite takes on Shion's design since it reminds me a bit of how characters are designed in Mega Man Zero/ZX.
