I submitted these four attached (and a fifth painting, not pictured) for a semi-local juried art show.
It’s the second time in my artistic career where I’ve paid per entry. Kind of nervous about it... but I hope for good things! 🌹

The painting on the right covering the painting on the left. This piece in particular was really difficult for me to figure out. I found the same reference photo from the original to work on for the cover-up but I still haven’t figured out my brush language for the waves.

I did another do-over landscape today. I painted over the first image that I had originally done in 2018 using a reference photo.

Painted this pretty kitty who has recently crossed the rainbow bridge. I’ve normally chosen to give most of my pet portraits one solid background color but in the reference photo I really enjoyed how the light shone on her and cast her shadow, and I wanted to re-create that.
