Little #landscape #paintings I’ve been working into slowly just to loosen up the painting muscles that went into momentary hibernation.

I’ve kind of accepted that me and portraits aren’t friends but I’d like to be so here’s my #portrait final for my #portraiture class.
Still could use a lot of work but I learned a lot.

Little detail shots of a piece I’m working on. Still going to bring out the dark in the shadows of the marigolds and a couple of other details here and there.

Did a painting with a palette knife just for fun.

Started on something yesterday. Excited to bring color to it next week with a glaze. Not my forté as I tend to prefer working directly but we’ll see how it goes!
