You know, this question was really hard for me to answer and that's driving me crazy. I did connect with characters, books, movies, games. But I didn't know I was trans, I was afraid of "girly things," The things that resonated the deepest felt like I was doing something wrong. https://t.co/HYU4fJqkjO
Trans pro-tip: Whenever someone asks for you by name on the phone or otherwise you can respond "This is she/he/they/etc." to introduce yourself to a stranger with your pronouns without feeling like it's forced. ❤️
My friend @LindseyBurcar updated an older piece I commissioned to match my current gender and even did a variant for my new fursona. These are so beautiful, thank you so much!!!! 😭❤️❤️
@hmsnofun Part of what helped me figure out I'm trans was trying to explain why my ostensibly female character who used she/her pronouns was a boy. It was because I wanted her to be like me.
Many conversations later, that friend made this. The euphoria is unreal ❤️
@LeMerielle Werewolves. I was obsessed with transformations and desperately searched for portrayals where the werewolf enjoyed being a wolf. And I found furries. I'm a furry. 😜
@brynismyname Not related but my fursonas color schemes actually made this transition 😂
