Because Barbara never wore purple in the comics until the Burnside era, after Steph's Batgirl run. Her colors were black/blue/yellow as Batgirl. It's the way it's been since she was introduced in the 1960s. Purple Batgirl suits *were* a Stephanie Brown thing. https://t.co/L6DbeiKLPh
I think DC should canonize that Lois Lane is dyslexic. There's only so many times you can run the "terrible at spelling" gag before we get suspicious that Lois has the training & inherent writing ability to win Pulitzers but also has an actual issue physically writing things down
Generally, my review of Wonder Woman Historia is that it's a very loving & necessary exploration of the Amazons' backstory (particularly Hippolyta) and a fun reworking of DC's Greek pantheon, with absolutely GORGEOUS art in every single issue.
The Superfam is now officially the Jacketfam...which means that Clark better get with the program soon because he's currently the only one who's off-brand
Dark Crisis has been a mid at best event but it's given every comic fan on the planet ammunition in spades to fight back against the "Deathstroke can be anyone's villain" allegations
"Lightning in a bottle" comic runs where the quality and vibe of the comic is incredible and will make you an instant fan of the character as you simultaneously realize you're probably never getting content featuring them this good ever again
1) Cassandra Cain isn't mute, submissive, an assassin, or any of the other things you said
2) She's an extremely complex & multi-faceted character with a ridiculously compelling character arc
3) Way to broadcast that you haven't read a single comic featuring her
4) SHE ISN'T MUTE https://t.co/KVgei3hAOs
Mariko Tamaki consistently writes banger comic runs. It's your own fault that you're judging her on one (1) bad Elseworlds YA book without having read any of her other work. https://t.co/lZdwjBU16E
