post-Crisis characters that have yet to make any true appearances in the post-Flashpoint universe despite DC publishing multiple storylines DIRECTLY relevant to them
Batman's kids punching him in the face :)
okay Zdarsky bringing back one of Grant Morrison's most batshit concepts ever but SPECIFICALLY to spend the entire time lowkey dunking on it is BDE
When you're an Amazon who semi-regularly carries a sword and shield, likes fighting, is Zeus's kid, and WANTS to be known as a renowned warrior and your semi-pacifistic older sister steals your backstory and gets all the weapons and glory instead
anyway if you want a story starring an Amazon who actually IS a warrior character, give it up for Artemis Grace of the Bana-Mighdalls! She may have been introduced during one of the worst eras of Wonder Woman comics, but she survived it like the absolute champ she is
......anyway friendly reminder that there are more members of the Wonderfam than Diana, and they're all wonderful. Diana doesn't have to be all things to all people; let other Amazons bring the "Amazonian Warrior Princess/Queen" archetype to the table.
Diana as Wonder Woman is a martial pacifist. If she's breaking out weapons designed to kill someone, it's because she's facing a mythological monster who won't be defeated by any means except death or a god. Period.

Wonder Woman is supposed to be an ambassador for PEACE. Yes, she's an *extremely* competent fighter. But that's not her 'go-to' problem-solving approach nor is it even a preferred one. Her primary 'weapons' should be her lasso, bracelets, & own strength, as they were for decades.
one day....one day I will get "deliberately carries no offensive weapons unless immediately necessary" Diana back
