I read an awful one a couple of months back. My book club had chosen it because it had a bestseller sticker on it. I have a theory it was only a bestseller because of the sticker. Still, it will have been someone's favourite

The excitement of not knowing what might happen. There’s so much potential in an empty page. When it’s a new chapter, or halfway through becoming something, then the empty page is the most frightening animal in the world.

Day 26: Would you ever go on a date with your MC or antagonist?
I think I have been on a date with my antagonist, which is how I know it wouldn’t work. A date with my MC would be a disaster of her staring & my undiluted discomfort. There would be no second date
