@pepsi sponsorship for the dirt modified that I worked on, most of the merchandise for the DW program rolled down into our budget!
We won alot of races for those guys!
It was a pretty "big bucks" up deal back than too! 💰💰💲🏁🇺🇸

@ripjetson9 thought me that anytime you build a race car you need a flat,adjustable repeatable surface for starters! While Flea specializes in open wheel, and leaves the taxi cab business up to me, it is all the same!
Today I am building fixtures for this project we are doing!🏁

When DW went to the Jr. Johnson,s operation he went "full" BAD ASS on the competition!
Jr was quite and DW never stopped talking! But on the race track it was music! 🎵

One of the most colorful drivers to grace the @NASCAR ranks is this guy right here! Ol' DW ! Darrell Waltrip!
He came onto the scene about the right time when the sport was growing, TV was getting popular and the sport needed someone to speak there mind with driving talent!

@MeansRacing52 shot for Mr. Hendrick came up short! 35 laps into a 500 mile run, at Charlotte Jimmy got caught up in a crash from some others doings! Mr. H liked Jimmy and his work ethic and desire! It was rumored that Jimmy was in consideration for a full time ride later on. 🏁

Most race car drivers do not get that "once in a lifetime opportunity " to showcase their talents.
In 1987, @MeansRacing52 received a phone call from @TeamHendrick. The team needed a driver to fill in for Tim Richmond. Jimmy got the call and qualified 5th at Charlotte !

You are not going to see anymore racers come up through the ranks, like
@MeansRacing52 !
This racer fought his way through the grassroots in places like Huntsville and Nashville to reach the highest series in the world, @NASCAR Cup!
Jimmy did it his way ,on his terms!

Hell yea!
