Gary Patterson loved 2 thing the most other than racing. They were dogs an kids! Once at the California Gold Cup, Gary met a young fan that was selling racing programs! The kid made 25 cents for every copy sold. Gary walked the pits an stands and strong armed everyone to buy one!

Gary Patterson was a rare breed all of his own! Once in a bar room drinking a beer and minding his own business ,some guy started mocking him. Bad decision on his part. Gary kicked his ass so bad it earned him a 2 year stint in jail!
