Tighe Scott had quite a interesting racing career! Starting in the Northeast Modifieds and winning his share of events he went to Daytona to run the 500 in 1976 with no asphalt experience to a 6th place finish in the 500 in '79, Tighe decided to head home and run so sprint cars!
Elmo Langley was a tough ol' bird!
A @NASCAR independent who more than paid his dues. His on track performance had some highs, but his mentoring of young drivers was his specialty! Kenny Schrader was a student of Elmo's that went on to success. His hard work was a way of life! 🏁
Bobby Marshman was a fast and very smart race car driver! His understanding and feel for the race car was far ahead of its time. His success in the sport was starting to blossom until a tire testing crash at Phoenix during the off-season in 1964 took his life way to early. 🙏🏁
Racers like @shanecarson are not made anymore!
Shane would kick your ass on track with or without a wing! And teach you a lesson while doing it! And you would thank him later for doing so! In the car or out Shane Carson never stopped promoting the sport that we all love! 🏁👊🔧

Carl Williams a racer from the Midwest, barnstorming his way through USAC in the sprint car series with the likes of Foyt and Andretti. A engineering degree made him popular among car owners. With winning talent behind the wheel, and 6 Indy 500 starts, Carl lacked lady luck !🏁
Thank you so much sir !
I hope you are feeling well and that you have a "BAD ASS " New Year!
