I finally took one of my #sketchbook creatures & made it into 3D. It looks a little bit different but maybe you know which sketch that is. I will do more polishing later & some simple colors. Will practice a bit more lighting, rendering with it. So just a small side sculpt. :)

I try to start a new personal project and needed a better idea of what I wanna do. I wanted to do a crocodile but.. you know me. I always need a little 'extra' when I design creatures ☺ so I took one of my base blockouts and overpainted it to get a better idea.

Sneak peek on something I'm working on with a friend!

I had an idea in my mind and wanted to see if I can make it this way. I guess it works, what makes me pretty happy. :) Its still a wip though.

Finished the sculpt for my DragonDeer rig/animation practice. (This is just a pose NOT the rig pose).

This is an example WHY its so cool to have basic blockout-meshes for animals or characters.
When we work as an artist we need to combine our ART with TIME. we all know TIME is MONEY. That's why we use materials, brushes, textures, meshes, plugins etc. to speed up the process.

Because of this big recent discussion about elite Artstation, posting wips (yes/no), how to say things etc. Both sides has their good & bad. But dont wanna talk about that here.

A new blockout i did in my morning from an adult moose and a kid. It slowly makes more and more fun to do all these basic blockouts. Next one will be a bear. :)
