Pac-a-Day 16: Pac-Attack
It's Pac-Man's first home console game not counting arcade game ports, Pac-Attack! (also known as Pac-Panic)
It's an interesting puzzle game that feels like a mix of Tetris and Pac-Man. I quite like it!
Pac-a-Day 14: Extra Ghosts
Alongside the main 4, Pac-Mania featured 3 additional ghosts:
Sue, returning from Pac-Land, will always chase you
Funky, called Common in Japan, can jump when you do, but can be jumped over with good timing
Spunky, who can't be jumped over at all
Pac-a-Day 13: Pac-Mania
Pac-Man's back in the maze, now in pre-rendered 3D, and now he can jump over ghosts! This is one of my favorite Pac-Man arcade games. I love the music and aesthetics, and it gets quite intense later on. Here we see the first maze, Block Town!
Pac-a-Day 11: Cartoon
Pac-Land was actually based on the 1982 Pac-Man cartoon, which was the first cartoon based on a video game! The show featured concepts that would later be used in the games, such as Power Pellets growing on trees and the portrayal of Pac-Man as a family man.
Pac-a-Day 10: Pac-Land
It's the first platformer in the series, Pac-Land! A really fun game which hasn't been rereleased often, so I'm glad it's in Pac-Man Museum+. I based this drawing on the cover of the PC Engine version.
Did you know that Pac-Land inspired Super Mario Bros.?
Pac-a-Day 9: The Scholar and the Dog
Even though they don't appear in any of the games included in Pac-Man Museum+, Professor Pac and Chomp-Chomp DO appear as collectable figures in the first trailer, and are both even on the front cover! Glad to see these two aren't forgotten!
Pac-a-Day 8: Pac-Powers!
Pac & Pal was one of the very few games in the series to not feature the iconic Power Pellets. Rather, It had a variety of power-ups that allowed Pac-Man to shoot a beam and stun the ghosts. Two of these are depicted in the game's flyer.
Also some Miru's.
Pac-a-Day 6: Super Battle
While Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures isn't in Pac-Man Museum+, I drew a piece based on it, as it's the only other game in the series where the Super Pac-Man form appears.
This art is depicting the final boss battle: Super Pac-Man vs. The Gum Monster!
Pac-a-Day 5: Super Americanized
Before I drew a piece based on the US art for Pac-Man, but here we have the US art for Super Pac-Man! This design of Pac is certainly more on-model than the last. Pac-Man Museum+'s art is based on the US bezel, but uses the Japanese character art.
Pac-a-Day 4: Super Pac-Man
It's the first Namco-developed Pac-Man sequel, Super Pac-Man! A pretty different and fun game, very fast!
This drawing takes inspiration from both the game's Japanese flyer, and the game's bezel artwork in Namco Museum Remix/Megamix.
