30+ years of role-playing, tabletop gaming and being a total geek. Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, World of Darkness and Horus Heresy are my jam.

Middenheim is a fascinating setting. I only read te OG "City of the White Wolf" supplement, as well as the third part of the "Paths of the Damned" campaign. How good is the new Middenheim sourcebook from ?

Haven't read that one yet. How good is it? I love the cover, as usual. 4e covers are almost universally fantastic.

This is probably my second favorite book from . It's the best Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay magic supplement since the time of the 2e's "Realms of Sorcery".

To this day my favorite book from . This is one of those must-haves. Highly recommended.

I'm kinda torn about the finale being split into two parts, as the Siege of Terra is going for waaaay too long already, but... this artwork is really good. Hopefully the end will be worth the wait.

Priest of Manann and a singing Chantyman, courtesy of ! I especially like the chonky holy man with a mean streak. He looks suitably regal and wild, at the same time!

Gangrel Biker is out.

Toreador Tik-Toker is out.

Toreador bar owner who makes his own blood booze is out.

Now I am thinking about a Assamite ex-combat medic who wants to cure the Baali curse with science and alchemy. Thoughts?

Ahhhh, Conan the Destroyer, the quintessential "worse sequel" of the franchise. I still like it a lot, even if it was silly and a bit over the top at times. That said Wilt Chamberlain was awesome and it's clear that Arnold took more fencing lessons for this one.

So it's been a while... What are people's opinions on 4e?

I like the general tone and style of it, but the rules are too player-friendly. This is a very safe game, in which there's almost no danger or risk to the PCs.

That said I still like it a lot.

On the subject of Asrai (Wood Elves): are Wardancers cool? I always found them really interesting with the whole "dance of death" schtick. Shame that we never got the official rules for them... at least I don't think we did.
