Did a quick alternate version for fun. This time, Asha does not mind.

There is seemingly a lot more #PopfulMail artwork on DA now than the last time I checked. Will likely add more to the list myself. From what I heard, the game is coming to the Sega Genesis mini expansion...thing. Glad people will be able to try this gem out!

Asha and Popful Mail to me share a special connection because they both starred in stellar 2D action RPGs that released on #Sega platforms on the SAME DAY in Japan (April 1st, 1994).

For those who are unaware, there are two other Popful Mail characters that were exclusive to a Drama CD. The blonde one is Comb and the pink-haired one is Headband.

I don't think I've ever seen fan art of them before...I'd love to be one of the first!

@Lambert0_XD Popful Mail is a side-scrolling Action RPG series where you fight monsters and utilize things like swords, magic and more!

The Sega CD version in a way is "Monster World CD" in terms of some design. She is one of the core guest characters in Shantae & Asha for a reason lol.

A work in progress tribute to a fascinating discovery that was found when a friend and I played Wonder Boy III: Monster Lair on co-op. It turns out that you can stand on the other player's head and shoot together as a sort of totem pole of destruction lol. Will finish it soon!

On June 2nd and 3rd, we have two very special events coming up. The release of the base Wonder Boy Collection (2nd 35th anniversary game) and the 20th anniversary of Shantae, so I cooked up two works to show love and appreciation to BOTH, not just one or the other. 🙃
