While I’m not crazy with a lot of the franchise’s decisions from about 2018 onward, I’ve been enjoying raising a “baby” Mew in Brilliant Diamond lately, so I decided to make something simple to reflect that for today. ✨

Day 6 is probably the only “Winx that Kiss” that will have a different name depending on which version of the show you grew up with. ⚖️

Personally, I grew up with “Layla.” But I do think the modern description of her power as “waves” is one of the easier ones to understand. 🌊

In a twist of irony for my “Winx that Kiss” Valentine’s Countdown, soft-spoken Flora’s unique Charmix pin has turned into the most “metal” piercing so far. 😆

Even so, I like how the wings & coloring make for some fitting rose imagery. 🌹

For once I’ve noticed it’s #PortfolioDay in time to post something. ✨

After a while away from more “normal” art, I whipped this up last night when I saw a contest on DeviantArt still had 1.5 hours before it closed, when I thought I’d already missed out. ✨

I had hoped to get this in earlier in the day, but this month has been such a rollercoaster, getting it up on the right day at all is good enough, right? 😅

This came about –last year– as a profile pic for an account we share…then I never got around to posting it elsewhere until now. 😅

Oh well. The important thing is Ally & I are both happy with it! ✨
