Since the story revolves around History Day, what better opportunity to throw in some nods to cool activists in history such as Frida Kahlo, Nelson Mandela, Muhammed Ali, and Zitkala-Ša!

Happy Pub Day to The Iheards! I had so much fun on The Whatifs so I was absolutely on board when I got the news of a sequel. It was a fun challenge to keep the same style as the first book while also utilizing new painting techniques!

So cool to hear that The Iheards will be joining the other amazing picture books that were selected for @SOI128's Original Art Show this year! Thank you so much to the jury! What an awesome surprise!

Happy to announce my last two cryptid books I got to illustrate for the wonderful @hazydellpress! What an honor it was to design Vampire Baby and Krampus Baby! Both books are publishing later this year! ❤️
