I'm very excited for the next coming episodes for many reasons but next episode my baby gets to EAT GOOD and that's like my entire world right there

another one is how women are referred to by their husband's names. when a woman marries, her FEMALE in-laws refer to her as "Wife of (husband's name)". there's also a whole other thing for how MALE in-laws would refer to her based on the age of his brother... it's complicated

a little tidbit on the honorifics in REEDS - I ended up "localizing" a lot of it in my head, lol. in our language, younger men should refer to any older man (including unrelated) as "elder brother" (tij laug). I chose to translate it to terms like "sir", "mister", etc
