It becomes harder to sympathize with Light the further the show goes on, and without L, Light has no chemistry with anyone around him, and thus ceased to be all that interesting.
Whereas Lelouch worked hard, had genuinely good intentions, and kept doing cool stuff in R2
Thinking about how much yaoi fan service we would’ve gotten between Lelouch and Suzuku if Clamp was in the Code Geass writer’s room! We were robbed I fear…
