trust love: 7/10
A BOP. A GROOVE. more upbeat feel than other volumes which i actually like but is ironic considering how things went later in v7 lol. i might be a bit biased since this volume was the first one i watched as it was coming out.
the triumph: 5/10
the vocals/melody dont really vibe with me for some reason. i dig the instrumental part but im not a huge fan of it. its one of the kind of forgettable ones to me. its not bad per se (there are no bad rwby openings.) but im not a fan.
lets just live: 6/10
like time to say goodbye, i kinda forget about it sometimes. its good but forgettable to me. the happier/hopeful sound is a weird choice imo, especially considering some of the lyrics? idk good but forgettable and feels little out of place to me.
when it falls: 8/10
my second fav after this will be the day. im just a huge fan of the intense grungy sound lol. kinda edgy but does a good job of setting the stage for the volume. i like the screamy vocals at the beginning.

MY FAVORITE OPENING. i love the grungy guitar and the heavy rock sound. my only complaint is that casey lee williams was like. what was it 13? 12? when she sang it so she does sound kinda babyish. id love to hear her sing it now.
