Good morning Tom @tomemurtha & thank you, as always. I'm very glad to hear that you had your vaccination & I can imagine what a boost to one's morale it must be. Here's one to give you (& us all!) hope of better days to come: this is "Lyme Regis" by John Cooper from c.1935. #ELG https://t.co/n02WrimQgg
"There came to my ears a low, dull, quick sound, such as a watch makes when enveloped in cotton... It was the beating of the old man's heart." Illustration for Edgar Allan Poe's "The Tell-Tale Heart" by Arthur Rackham, 1935.

Sleep tight.
Fabulous image via @Mary_Evans from 1935. I dressed up on Christmas Day (as did Nick ... the teenagers were horrified) and it felt wonderful. Roll on 2021 when hopefully there will be much more to celebrate ✨
Good morning Emma @emmadora & thank you. I think that "dreich" sums up the weather here admirably: "dreary & bleak" according to Lexico! Here's one with a bit of brightness & warmth about it. This is "Lyme Regis" by John Cooper from c.1935. #JohnCooper #LymeRegis #SundayMorning https://t.co/Gj9UgeBoyO
Good morning Dorothy @Dorfybrown & thank you. It sounds as if you've get the same weather in Bournemouth as we've got (not unsurprisingly bearing in mind our proximity to one another!). Here's a Dorset image to brighten your day: this is "Lyme Regis" by John Cooper from c.1935. https://t.co/MDgzYc2ekL

Self portrait - Victor Brauner.
This piece was painted during Viktor #Brauner's second stay in Paris, between 1930 and 1935. It holds a symbolic place in the painter's life, because it foretold the accident which caused him to lose his left eye. (Rmn-Grand Palais, Paris).
