Day 1: the first film I remember watching (at least in theaters) was Bambi. Totally fell asleep and to this day that movie bores the hell out of me. XD
The earliest film I remember seeing outside of the theaters was The Secret of Nimh. I loved and still love that movie.

I'd like to show some appreciation for Gustaf Tenggren. He was a primary figure for the look of some of the older films from Disney Animation working on shorts The Old Mill, and films like Snow White, Pinocchio, and Bambi. He eventually became an illustrator for children's books.

Tonight’s 3D sculpt/mask will be inspired by Ronno from Bambi. I love deer and the designs from the second movie are my favorite 😊

es tendencia porque Disney confirmó que ya están trabajando en un remake tipo el Rey León de Bambi. Ahora verás cuando le matan a su mamá en 4K.

Two deer with rhubarb antlers and bees on their heads are the mascots for Fujimi High School in Nagano, Japan, and are collectively called Rhubambi.

As an example here are some pics from DonHukka, DaemonKitty and Salt-Dog of these amazing Redraws of an anime and the best cartoon Bambi. It can be the full drawing, background and all, but most people just draw the character in their style.

I've been told twice today that I look like Bambi. I honestly don't see it. I was nicknamed Bambi because I'm clumsy and I always fall over, not because I look like him haha. But I'll take it as a compliment because Bambi is cute af!

One significant example of how Disney's animation and character designs really improved over time is how the deer were made more realistic and expressive between Snow White and Bambi. I really believe animation research seriously can help improve artists draftsmanship.

The O.G anime eyes come from Osamu Tezuka's obsession with Bambi. "Schodt narrates his growth as a prolific young storyteller inspired by Disney films like “Bambi” (Tezuka watched it over 80 times). https://t.co/39yh3xBYJv
