As well as Bakker, Paul & Henderson like everyone else in my generation, the people I was most inspired by when I first started doing serious palaeoart were Frederik Spindler and Jason Brougham. I still think both deserve more recognition in the community! https://t.co/uwbJSTosq0

Hi, I'm Grace. I was a fossil preparator until the pandemic hit. These days I make 3D models of prehistoric critters, especially fish.

And PalaeoArt is not exclusive to Art! Nina is the Game Director at Italic Pig for PaleoPines! A game which, I am certain, will inspire and educate a lot of people new to palaeontology!

I always value art that is not sticking to the norm, and Greer exemplifies this wonderfully. We need diversity in the way we execute palaeoart, to have diversity in palaeontology.

My first-ever palaeoart illustration appeared in paper today! The paper by V. Baranov looked at Gedanoleria fly larvae locked in Baltic amber. Here is my reconstruction of the flies, maggots and things they fed on.

I can call myself a "professional" palaeoartist now.

Thinking about it Shin-hanga style would've looked astounding in palaeoart landscapes. Might experiment with colours / brush strokes to get similar effect in future 🤔
