@JCRev4 @king_tyranno Oh yes, there was actually a dinosaur rhino. I present you Rhinosaurus magnus. An extinct genus of abelitheriid rhino that existed from the early oligocene to Early Miocene of central Davidpeteropia. It was exclusively a carnivore, a unique trait within perissodactyla.

Although first discovered in 1974, it was years later in 2008 that the fossils were declared as a new species, Pachyrhinosaurus lakustai, named after founder, Al Lakusta. Unique to the Peace Region, their remains have only been found in the Pipestone Creek Bonebed #MesozoicMonday

Pachyrhinosaurus was unique amongst other Ceratopsians in that it sported large structures called bosses on its head, unlike the typical horns their relatives adorned. Don’t boss them around!

Here is is, the final entry in the series (for now)! I couldn't fit the Battle at Big Rock dinosaurs, so they'll come as a supplement. I included an alternate Pachyrhinosaurus head for "Sinoceratops" as that is what the animal was "supposed" to be originally. Enjoy!
Para no dejar el perfil muy inactivo, hoy os enseño dos de mis paleo-ilustraciones favoritas. Un Pachyrhinosaurus y un Spinosaurus, dos de mis dinosaurios favoritos del periodo Cretácico
Day 12: Dinosaur playing
An Albertosaurus sarcophagus plays the ‘bone toss’ game using an old occipital condyle from a Pachyrhinosaurus. Based on tyrannosaur bite patterns on condyles attributed to play behaviour.

This is the Pachyrhinosaurus character of @Hallowraith ! because I love so much that PiñaColada they made for me 👀🧡 Thank you again!!!
(it's pretty sketchy, sorry about this, I hope you will like it anyway)
#FossilFriday #Alaskadinosaurs Though we are temporarily closed to the public, our appreciation for dinos can continue. Our iconic Pachyrhinosaurus perotorum on the left, and the skull still in the ground in 2006 on the right. See Tykoski et al., 2019 J Syst Palaeo for latest

Happy #FossilFriday folks!
I know I said Grazenlands was on a hiatus but because I was on a ceratopsian groove a while back I overhauled Pachyrhinosaurus
In honor of that middle school teacher that told me dinosaurs weren't extinct because the zoo had a "Rhinosaurus", here is Rhinosaur for my first #monsterdesignmonday
@OneyNG Did you know that the Sinoceratops in Fallen Kingdom has holes in it's head solely because it is a shameless bootleg of the injured Pachyrhinosaurus from the Walking With Dinosaurs movie?
As it's #FossilFriday I took a punt at a Pachyrhinosaur...
(apologies to actual #paleoart / #paleontology people, for any horrific amateur mistakes I've blundered into - feel free to correct if I've disgraced current finds in some way, I'll bare in mind for future)
