One evening, a penniless shoemaker received unlikely aid from a few elves. The elves made a pair of beautiful shoes from leather scraps. The man sold the gorgeous shoes and then provided food and clothing to those with less than himself.

Most common profession for Leprechauns is shoemaker/cobbler. An invaluable job seeing as Trooping Fairies spend so much time dancing in fairy forts at balls & wearing their shoes out. The tapping of his hammer often betrays his position.

The elves - famous one! The elves help out the poor shoemakers, until they are given clothes. It comes with two other stories - one features a human godmother to a fairy baby, which is a nice counterpoint to all those fairy godmothers.
