If you haven't yet, check out the original version. I got a Blu-ray set a few years ago and it's fabulous. It has all the original episodes and keeps the narrative intact - including Berg Katse's gender fluidity, which was excised from the American version.

*hugs!* I was in a similar boat, taking time with yourself can reveal so much! I was always fine with any pronouns, I never really cared, and when I read into genderfluidity I felt a connection, like it kinda made sense haha!
