Love this game, I like all the details on the tracks, but it can be hard to see your car sometimes on the speccy version, but still had great fun.

It's one of those things where it'd always be nice to have the C64 version take better advantage of the C64's hardware. But business decisions seem to get in the way of that. 🤔 Also, if you're copying the speccy code exactly, you don't have to look for new bugs. (in theory.) 😉

I never got on with Wec Le Mans originally, put this game is a great conversion of the arcade, the Speccy version is super fast.

This BASIC maze game appeared in Input magazine around 1984 which I (mis)typed into my and eventually got working. I was always impressed with how simple the code was for something quite complex. Even the Speccy version looks great!

Bomb Jack (1986; Elite Systems) on the ZX Spectrum. For the humble Speccy, this is a pretty decent arcade conversion. Had a lot of fun playing this with my folks back in the day.

A great game with many happy memories for me, one of the first Speccy games I constantly played! Cover artist Bob Wakelin really hated doing these covers but was asked to continue the cartoon style due to Ocean boss Dave Ward being a fan of how Esmeralda's cartoon boobs looked!😮
