i drew vivian with a patern to try and break up her design. something ive wanted to do for a while. i imagine the lighter areas are thinner membrane and are thus more sensative with the blue bits being her soft inner goo underneath

Not much of change but I moved some things to the side because it felt empty.

Also noticed that his left leg is thinner compared to his right leg but I couldn't bring my ass to redraw that bit 🫠

Well, my personal notes on the sculpt if you're going after her likeness are:

- making the eyes a bit smaller and tilting them up a bit
- making the nose bridge a bit thinner
- bottom of the ear seems to start right where the corners of the eyes end
- nostrils are upturned

More thinner than recall

More frequent than to fail." E.E. Cummings

Do you guys perfer the thicker lines or the thinner ones?

Or should I work both?

that chunky style in the late 90s did a lot of work in rlly showing these volumes off, more then nowadays where designs tend to be thinner and more delicate on average, still very skilled but it doesn’t show off the volumes 🥲 https://t.co/qyc28bTdS4

the drawings kinda messy but its basically like this, you can use a thinner base for shiny skin look, for the blush you just need to put more blush on the center while you bring it up to ur cheekbones, lately ive seen the trend where k muas only outline the waterline w brown +

Today’s warm up sketch; it’s kind of fun to swap back to a thinner pencil for a bit ✨

Leticia for

Here's the 2nd drawing of Leticia's goddess version. The dress fluff takes so long to draw in, hehe, and I'm trying to find a way to work with thinner lines. 🤔

Took my time with this one, using thinner strokes and different shading from my usual style.

Did you get the reference?

Rounder or more angular face, thinner or heavier brows and lashes, how much should she look like her younger brother and how much older should she be?

For having her silhouette and sprite mostly figured out, the portrait has sooooo many open questions

Made this for an irl friend but I wanted to share it with you guys too!

The dark hand is him the light one me. The gold is inspired by Kintsugi and his lines are thinner because I wanted them to look more like scars and already "healed" a bit.

btw which do you guys personally think looks nicer 🤔 thicker lines (L) or thinner lines (R)

Sometimes wishing to be thinner AND a nargacuga can go well, but once you see the genie materialize a piece of paper in front of you, it's already over. Should have been more specific, but at least you'll make a nice commission for someone~ Image for Tyla (Sept. 2022)

Iroha, from Blue Archive.
I was practicing a thinner lineart for this one, I wonder if it's noticeable
