I haven’t drawn anything in over seven eternities so i offer this doodle of Dime, the mc in a story about magic detectives.
I was just testing out a new color shading technique. I like how it looks. that sword is wack lmao
Another project I started a while ago and would like to revisit (in a different style) is this one featuring Silent Hill protagonists. Only Harry Mason got finished.
I used it to practice front views and a different shading technique. I learned but I'm not happy with the result.
Slowly discovering and learning a new coloring technique...
I'm kinda excited to use this for next year.
That cover was a ton of work, but I shoved a lot of friends in there and that made it better! And here are the FC2019 badges! I really relied on strong drawings this time around, and using that solid base I was able to experiment a bit with my painting technique.
Look what's finally finished!
Holy pancakes, this took FOREVER! But it was fun & a learning experience.
Tried a different coloring technique... soooo many layers!
Cardlin, Yuuri, & Todd... the 3 Amigos! Plus Kickflip, Toshi, Tom, and Sammy!

*continues drawing anime boys facing 3/4 left*
I was just messing around with a different colouring technique. I don't like it. 🤔
I don't play this.
I was commissioned to do a holiday present for a friend and tried out a new scales technique. Still lots to learn but it adds depth!

Kay shows Nick how she handles stick but is a little insecure about the technique. I think she's doing fine IMHO.
Since people seemed to liked the Queen concept for a phone background, I thought of trying out another of the more mature ladies in the series, Missy. This time I took the opportunity to practice my legs by using a more anime technique. I NEED to get better at them.
In 1953 Morris Louis visited the studio of Helen Frankenthaler, where he saw Mountains and Sea (1952), the first painting made with her signature “soak-stain” technique.
(Then he became famous/successful for riffing on it)
Thanks, @metmuseum for the shout out to #womenartists https://t.co/f6PnScdh36
"Klaude 2019"
Followed a youtube vid for this coloring technique. :P I'm anxious to try again. Klaude is my bff's original character.

Some of my favourite pieces of this year. I've continued to experiment coloring technique. I still can't find my style but I only know that dramatic lighting is my fav aesthetic.
Hope next year will get better. Thank you for all support!
Since I had a sketch of kid Ranch left over and I liked the coloring style I used for @MasakoX shirt designs so much, I decided to make one more but added a few elements from my usual technique. #DragonBallRR

A different idea for my second entry into the #HarpoonReverseArt Blu-ray cover contest with @ArrowFilmsVideo. Different composition and technique...a bit vintage video game box. @EmilyTyra
