Hector Garrido was the artist who designed most of the package art for the original Hasbro G.I.Joe (Real American Hero). When I think of those characters his versions are what come to mind. He passed recently at the age of 92. R.I.P.

Favorite G.I.Joe number two is Scarlett. Right off the bat I thought she was cool. She had a frickin crossbow to fight with which is either badass or insane.

RIP Hector Garrido, illustrator and artist of G.I.Joe ARAH. His artwork will always be part of my childhood and all the great memories that come with it.
