【百年ﾆｭｰｽ】1921(大正10)4月13日(水) オランダの絵本作家ジャン・デュリュー(#JeanDulieu)がアムステルダムで誕生。1940音楽学校卒業後ロイヤル・コンセルトヘボウ管弦楽団のヴァイオリニストとなるが戦後は漫画家として活動。1948代表作となる『パウルス』シリーズが出版される。2006没,享年85。

Artist Spotlight 🔦 Basil Blackshaw.

Blackshaw was born in Co. Antrim and studied at the Belfast College of Art from 1948 to 1951. In his year of graduation he won a travelling scholarship which enabled him to spend a year in Paris. He has exhibited regularly since 1952.
