After fighting some burn out I finished texturing Cat Boy's outfit. I just need to rig and convert to VRM and keep going through these commissions. I may delay the next iPhone blendshape Fall commissions a bit longer for my brain to fully refresh.

Animations are one thing, but their texturing and details just have streamlined mechanical implants instead of being sloppily sewn up the naval cavity

Can anyone point me towards a good tutorial for pixel art texturing in Blender on NON-cubic models?

I always get so close but have large issues with scaling and UV, so frustrating. Examples below (not mine):
