Another god-like artist when it comes to details to clothing AND background. I love how you can't box their coloring to cel or soft because for me it looks like she uses textures, gradients and patterns as 'shading' which is really cool <3 (1/2)

For day 269 :) of I did the gradients I was talking about yesterday, some more shading, and I changed some of the colours on the hood to be less saturated and more blue-shifted. I'm gonna work on the eyes tomorrow since they have a lot of detail and reflection.

How did you made it to make the shadows so sharp? When I try to do something similar the shadows keep overlapping with one another and making these ugly gradients, have you perhaps ran into a similar issue?

This animation was illustrated and animated entirely on PowerPoint. As a friend pointed out "Even the ray tracing!"
Its all custom shapes with gradients (+transparency) and the pen tool.
Some evidence, can provide more if needed!

ive been working on a new sona and pfp, but the color gradients are too subtle so it all looks like one color without much detail so far

what are you guys' thoughts on this new style?

Ok so I said I was gonna take a break today and not draw at all, but man, I feel so damn guitly if I don't... lol.
I also recorded the whole thing! It's just gradients, not full color, but you can get the idea of how I make stuff. I'll post the video in a few minutes! :3
