Today I’d like to share these of garden plants by year 4 students. The class had already learnt how to use watercolours earlier in the term. I modelled a very quick reminder about how to blend colours and set them off. This was the result!

Spanish Armada wrecks in Ireland watercolours from 1988. La Trinidad Valencera and La Girona (well known wrecks). Third & fourth wrecks were secret location photos I was given with no wreck name. So don't actually know where in Ireland these are.

Among the museum’s Nature Art Collection are 78 watercolours of mushrooms by Beatrice Williamson (1916 – 2003), who studied at the Ontario College of Art and Design and later worked in Ottawa. Her first book, "Reflections on the Fungaloids", was published when she was 86.
