Every time I look at the manuscript, I’m shaken. There’s Europe, in kaleidoscopic fragments, at the moment of its implosion . . . and it goes on and on, all the way down.

Writing Crestfall day 14: 19,493 words edited today. Manuscript is over 60k. I'm mailing it off to my editor tonight, and if you're a beta reader, I'm just waiting on sand gryphon chapter headers to send a copy your way =]

That'll wait for tomorrow, though. Valentine's time!

• Saints’ lives
• An otherworldly flying creature we think might be a dragon but honestly we're not sure
• Bede
