Michelangelo's fantastic Entombment, an early work from ca. 1500. Always love this painting's total sense of unreality, & strong grace. Today is Michelangelo's birthday.

Why is there an angel holding a suit of skin in Michelangelo's painting at the Sistine Chapel. Why is the hand of god inside of a male 'member' & hiding the face of a witch? Are you even curious? YT

I made a model of fan reploid Angelo's sword! It looked really cool in it's original art, and it was fun to re-create in 3-D!

Definitely my greatest fanart so far ever since I started drawing digital art.

I'm definitely glad I used Michelangelo's David for Adam's pose here.

I think I could have added more, but I think this is fine for now.

I hope you can also appreciate this. In the forearms there is one very small muscle that contracts only when lifting the pinky, otherwise it is invisible. Michelangelo's Moses is lifting the pinky, therefore that tiny muscle is contracted.

in 1 November 1512, sublime ceiling frescoes in the Sistine Chapel, the result of four years of back-breaking work, were first revealed to an astonished public. Standing beneath them gazing up is an awe-inspiring experience.
