この時期はジャケットにもあるような暴力性とヤケッパチなスピードの方が前に出ている
重さがイマイチ無いことや演奏のリズムがたまにすっぽぬけている所も含め憎めないB級感を醸す
オススメは「PANIC」。NWOBHM感のあるスリリングなギターソロが聞ける
二代目のヴォーカリストが加入した事によりバンドが更に進化を遂げブレイクしたパターンは過去にいくつかあったがANTHRAX、DREAM THEATER、VICIOUS RUMORS等がその良い例。しかし各前任のニール タービン、チャーリー ドミニシ、ゲイリー セント ピアーもそれぞれ独特の個性が感じられ結構好きだった。
自分が好きなバンドからヴォーカルが脱退し変わる事が何より最もショックで後任のヴォーカルがなかなか受け入れられないのだが当時ジョーイ ベラドナからジョン ブッシュに交代したANTHRAX、マイケル キスクからアンディ デリスに交代したHELLOWEENだけは殆ど違和感も無く直ぐに受け入れる事が出来た。
