File>Export>Movie as JPGs will add zeros, but there will be no sequence numbers, and it will export every frame of shot. If you choose File>Export>Bitmap this export will show numbers that you wrote using Renumber Scenes tool, and it exports panels, not frames. Hope this helps

agggh realized i was blurring & redithering a bitmap with a dither pattern already on it which was stupid

found the old files and just added some gradients to the original color-labeled shading image and can dynamically dither the image

should've shaded this ages ago tbh hhhhhh

Someone mentioned that the Jet Fish enemies were laggy. And they were correct - their jet fire had a filter applied, and was therefore caching as a bitmap on every frame!

It's got a good 2.5D look to it.
For a non-Bitmap Bros game, that has a real Bitmap Bros look to it though, I recommend Banshee. A cool vertically-scrolling shoot-em-up. It's like Sidewinder taken into the 21st century .. via a steampunk 20th century alternate universe. 😉
