Ali Suefi was a skilled archaeologist from Lahun. Ali oversaw Egyptian workforces working on excavations across Egypt from 1891 to 1924. Flinders Petrie considered Ali as a colleague, yet still called him ‘my best lad’ and his name rarely appears in official reports.

An excavation Reploid who volunteered to open tunnels when mankind was sheltered underground. While working on a project designed by the government, an earthquake caused him to be buried and damaged. The plans changed, Terratops was replaced and forgotten.

With opening of the new Penn Station I can't help but think of Ashcan School artist George Bellows, who in the early 20th century captured the massive excavations for the first iteration of that venue in two paintings, one @brooklynmuseum & the other @smithartmuseum
